Dr. Guthrie grew up in southern West Virginia and was raised by his grandfather, Larry. He attended Sissonville High School where he played soccer. Dr. Guthrie graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. He continued his education in Colorado to receive a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences degree from Colorado State University. Dr. Guthrie then returned home to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University.
Dr. Guthrie is excited for the opportunity to provide the people of Lancaster with quality dental care, help patients achieve a healthy mouth, and give them a smile they can be happy with.
Dr. Guthrie enjoys keeping up to date with new advances in dentistry through continuing education and is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In his free time, Dr. Guthrie enjoys exercising, being outdoors, and visiting wineries. Dr. Guthrie spends his time with his wife, Renee, and his golden retriever, Oliver.
